Rose Flanagan was listed as a servant, in the home, of Joseph Cardeza, a ticket collector on the 1870 census. The 1871 City Directory lists Joseph Cardeza's address as 2316 Green Street. Rose's siblings are as follows:
Rose's sister, Margaret Flannigan, first appears on the 1860 census. She is living with her husband, Patrick Gillin in the 24th Ward. Margaret's age is given as 21, and they have a daughter, Mary, born in PA, age 1.
Margaret buried the following children prior to the 1870 census. They are as follows:
1870 begins the next decade for the Gillin family. Patrick Gillin, age 35, occupation laborer. Margaret is 30 at this time. The following children survive:
1871 welcomes more tragedy to the Gillin family.
Gillin-On the 24th inst. Margaret, wife of Patrick Gillin, aged 32 years. The relatives, and friends, of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, from the residence of her husband, corner of Oak and Union, Mantua, on Sunday (February 25, 1871).

I have located a few dates where sons, James and Bernard resided with Rose and her family.
1880, Mary Gillin, has by this time, married Michael Carey, born IRE, Occupation Puddler, age 25. Mary is 20 years old, with two sons. Michael is 2 years old, born in PA, and James, age 4 mos was born in IRE
James and Bernard are living with Rose McNamee, and family on the 1880 census.
1883, James Gillin died January 20, 1883, from Typhoid fever, at Magee town near Norristown. He was 23 years of age, and his occupation was a puddler. His residence was listed as 4125 Mary St.
1910 Michael Carey and his wife, Mary are living at 2414 Turner St. Mary had 12 children. Eleven are living. Their son, Michael, is married, and living with them.
Rose's sister, Mary Jane FLannigan is born about 1845. She first appears on the 1880 census living with Rose and family. Mary's occupation is a washerwoman. Mary Jane died March 14, 1888. Her niece,(namesake Mary Jane McNamee) was born September 12, 1888, and was buried July 23, 1900.
Rose's Uncle, Thomas Flannigan, born in Ireland. His occupation was a Butcher. I assume that he may have been Rose's Uncle, lived on the same streets as Rose through the 1880s. He died at the age of 59, April 8, 1888, and was buried April 12, 1888 in Cathedral Cemetery with Mary Jane Flannigan, and the Gillin family members. (Sister Margaret's family).
Rose's brother, Peter Flanigan, plasterer, is listed on the 1870 census boarding with Peter Demar.(I'm sure this name is misspelled); as well as Peter's family: Jane(Galvin) his wife, Christopher, born 1861, Mary(Elizabeth), born 1867, Essie Gertrude born 1869. His niece, Mary Galvin(age 6) born NY, also lives with them. John Flanigan, age 4, is buried in Cathedral Cemetery, December 29, 1876.
1880 Peter is living at 4086 Mary St. Peter's daughter, Alice, born September 1875, is added to the census, with the following two boarders: Arthur Keefe, age 80, and William Koss, age 70. Rose is living at 4075 Mary St, and her in-laws are living at 4057 Mary St.
Jane Flanigan is buried June 7, 1885. Three of here grandchildren are buried after her. The family plot is originally purchased for two year old, Jospeh Alphonse Bastible, in 1851. With Jane Hamilton's assistance, I was able to find that his mother was a Galvan, and Susanne Galvan was living with them in 1850.
Peter's daughter, Elizabeth, born February 16, 1867, as Mary Elizabeth, married Edgar Burk, December 21, 1884.
Elizabeth's daughter, Mary, born March 1889 died March 19, 1903. Her addresss was 649 N 41st St, buried Fernwood Cemetery (Typhoid). Elizabeth's son, John, died 1887 (5 mos) and daughter, Harriet Burke, died 1888 (2 mos), are buried with their Grandmother Jane Flanigan at Cathedral Cemetery, and their Uncle John Flanigan, who died 12/29/1876 at 4 years. Elizabeth's sons Howard, Sept 1897 (19 mos) and Eddie, Dec 1897 (5 years); daughters Mabel, July 1890 (6 mos) and Alice, June 1898 (3 years). They are all buried in Fernwood Cemetery.
Peter's daughter, Essie Getrude, married Edmond J Cahall, son of Samuel. 1890, Peter Flanigan is living with Essie and Edmond at 4081 Warren St.
Paul R Cahall, son of Edmond and Essie Cahall died January 3, 1899 at the age of 2 mos, 2 weeks, and was buried in St Dennis Cemetery, January 5, 1899. Their address was 671 Holly St. Essie died July 19, 1899. At the time of her death, she was living at 643 N 41st St. She was buried at St Dennis Cemetery on July 22nd, 1899.
1900-Edmond J Cahall is living with his parents, at 5719 Market St. His children are James, born about 1891, and Mary E, born 1892.
1910-James Cahall is living with his father, Samuel, and his children, James 19 and Mary, age 18.
Peter's youngest daughter, Alice, born Sept 5, 1875, married Lewis Moore, August 31, 1898. 1900 census, Alice is living at 4207 Wallace St, with her husband, Lewis, age 26 and daughter, Marie, age 1. Lewis, at this time, is a RR Motorman.
From 1904 to his death, Peter lived with Alice and Lewis Moore. Peter Flanigan died December 2, 1917. This is approximately 18 mos after Rose. From 1875 forward, Peter and Rose could always be located houses apart, or within one block of each other. Peter's death certificate lists his parents as Christopher and Elizabeth. Rose's death certificate gives her father's name as James.
